Nothing but hard work! Our maple syrup is a 100% natural pure maple product with nothing added. Only boiled down to Golden perfection.

We are located off route 100 in ludlow vermont. Our 3 sugar bushes are located about 15-20 minutes up the road from us in Reading. We have 3 different pump houses that we haul the sap in our 3500 gallon tank truck to our sugar house on route 100. We have around 13,000 taps at the moment, with hopes to keep growing!

We aim to make as close to 5,000 gallons of syrup a year. This number has expanded over the years, as our operation continues to grow.

No, it's not a lotion! But smother anything from toast, pancakes, fruit, donuts, crackers, you name it-- it's good on it! Our owners personally love to put it in their Coffee!

Joshua and Jamie Rose became the 3rd generation owners of the Green Mountain Sugar House January 2026. Working alongside with Ann and Doug Rose they are learning from the best. They live 5 miles down the road with their 3 boys and you will often find them at the sugar house.

We are often found boiling in the short window of time that maple syrup can be made-- usually February- April.
